I 10/10 recommend! The food was fried to perfection. I did add a little salt & pepper but other than that it was seasoned well. The service was great. I will definitely return when I am in the area again!

We drove a hour to try this place..Best seafood I’ve had in awhile… best food we’ve had eating in what seems like forever! We don’t like chain restaurants and was looking for something different and found a gem! Our waitress was essence and did a great job as well! We will definitely be back!

Excellent food and service. Way above my expectations. Mimi was our waitress. She was excellent. She took very good care of us. We will definitely come back. Even the owner came out to make sure everything was ok.

I don’t know our waitress’s name but she was great. As people who don’t like being interrupted mid eating she was great and girl poured a damn good drink too. Very comforting atmosphere and good music. Not crowded which is shocking because the food was amazing. Crab dip best we’ve had in new Bern , catfish seasoned to perfection, collards 8/10, seafood pasta seasoned again to perfection, and good lord did my partner fall in love with their baked potato. Good vibes, worth the time waiting for the food(a little long but worth it) and great service. Highly recommend!!!

Choices were limited by the airport so we took a chance on a new-to-me place and I’m so glad we did. My friend had the shrimp tacos and I had the flounder sandwich with lettuce, tomato, coleslaw, and aioli (yes, get it ALL) with fries. Skip the fast food and support a locally owned business that sources NC seafood…and enjoy the soul-food!

The food and service here are amazing. We had a large party of 8 and the food came out quickly. Our server was so friendly and welcoming. Everything tasted absolutely incredible. The catfish is crispy, the bake potatoes are giant, and the crab dip can't be missed. This place is a gem in New Bern. Go here for am awesome meal.

The best soul food in the town of New Bern. I'd eat here everyday if I lived in town. I live 45 minutes away, and today is two days in a row! They have a large-scale menu. Ranging from chicken wings to crab boils! Live it here.

I don’t know how this place has less than 5 stars. Some of the best food I’ve had in New Bern and stellar service. All the portions were big and not a single bad thing was had at our table. Came with a party of 6 and had chicken pasta, grilled flounder w/hushpuppies, potatoes, and greens; steak tacos; 2 boils; fried okra; kids chicken and fries. Everyone loved their meal and we all passed the sides around to share. Will 100% be back!
